​Oil Fired South West (incorporating Gas Fired South West) are based in
Bideford, North Devon.
47 years working within the built & natural environment, encompassing domestic & commercial Oil, Gas and solid fuel appliances and their associated systems.
We are fully conversant with the requirements of Health & Safety at Work, Statutory Instruments and Approved Codes of Practice as they apply to our specific industry.
We are Gas Safe Registered, OFTEC qualified oil engineer and time-served industry professional within the solid fuel sector.
We provide, inspection, service, fault diagnosis and repair (where possible / feasible) of domestic oil and gas fired central heating boilers, Range cookers (AGA-Rayburn etc) and most domestic oil & gas fired space heating appliances throughout Southwest England.
We undertake the inspection of oil storage tanks and oil supply lines (where visible/accessible), repairs to oil service pipework and replacement of oil tank valves, sight gauges and electronic Watchman devices.
We undertake Gas safety inspections upon natural gas and LPG domestic installations, which includes Landlords Gas Safety inspections.
In addition to the above, we are qualified under CMDDA1 to undertake Fume Investigation and will carry this out for any domestic or commercial client. (Please note, this is a service for which a charge will be applied).
We DO NOT undertake appliance or system installations/ replacements, nor do we involve ourselves with plumbing or drainage, beyond the testing of atmospheres for the presence of Carbon monoxide, Hydrogen sulphide or other VOC,s
