Single Pressure Jet Range Cooker Servicing

Depending upon how much you use your Range Cooker servicing my be required at 6-monthly intervals.

 

Why it is important to have your  single burner Range Cooker serviced once a year.

It is important to understand that having only one burner which is responsible for providing cooking, hot water and central heating means the burner is used far more than a twin burner model.  For this reason a service every 6 months may be required.

1). To ensure the burner and cooker are safe to use and do not put you, your family and your neighbours at risk.

2). To ensure it works correctly and in the most efficient way.

3). To reduce the risk of it breaking down, just when you need it the most.

4). To identify potential problems and sort them out before they become bigger issues.

5). If your Range cooker is under warranty, regular servicing must be undertaken by either the manufacturer or approved distributor (Example – AGA/Rayburn).

6). To assess the ongoing condition of your cooker and determine if critical repairs are needed or appliance replacement is required.
