Vapourising Pot Burner Stove/Room Heater

If you run your stove /room heater throughout the year, it is advisable to have it serviced every 6-months (twice a year).

If you only run the stove/room heater during the winter period (once a year – turned off in the Summer), a service once every 12 months is usually adequate however, this will depend on factors such as preferred running temperature, chimney/flue draught etc.

If you only use your Stove/room heater during the winter, it is recommended the stove/room heater be inspected and serviced at the start of the winter period. In doing so, any problems can be identified and put right before you make use of your appliance.

Why it is important to have your Range Cooker serviced once or twice a year.

1). To ensure the burner and cooker are safe to use and do not put you, your family and your neighbours at risk.

2). To ensure it works correctly and in the most efficient way.

3). To reduce the risk of it breaking down, just when you need it the most.

4). To identify potential problems and sort them out before they become bigger issues.

5). If your Range cooker is under warranty, regular servicing must be undertaken by either the manufacturer or approved distributor (Example – AGA/Rayburn).

6). To assess the ongoing condition of your cooker and determine if critical repairs are needed or replacement of the cooker is required.
